Siomay Bandung

A portion of freshly steamed Siomay Bandung is enough to fill up your stomach during afternoon tea time. The Siomay Bandung, which is often described as the Indonesian way of Dim Sum, comprised of chicken and fish and served with peanut sauce along side.

The tastefulness and tenderness of the dish is accompanied by the spicy sour sauce, and that will makes your stomach craving for some more. In spite of commonly served as snack, the Siomay Bandung could also be enjoyed as a main meal, with steamed potatoes, tofu, and a boiled egg.

SBS Mbak Weny!

Okay here's my review:

First of all, your siomay looks WAY CUTER in real life.

Secondly, the tenderness and juiciness of the filling is nicely balanced with the outside (yellow wrapping thingy, I don't know what you call it), which has just the right amount of chewiness!

And thirdly, the peanut sauce is great! It's thick and tasteful and it doesn't taste too peanutty. And it goes really well with the siaomay. :D

So overall: 4.5/5 stars!

Will order again insyaAllah! Just text me when it becomes available! :D

SBS my dear Kamilla,

I am glad to have your review, it means that you enjoy the food!
The "yellow wrapping thing" is called wonton pastry. And the filling is chicken and fish.
Looking forwad to having your next order...:-)
