Opor Ayam


Opor Ayam is the Indonesia special dish of yellow curry chicken. It is not exactly a curry dish, but it's got a special beautiful flavour from lemon grass, cumin, garlic, turmeric, candle nuts,ground coriander, and ginger. The coconut milk which mixed with the juice of the chicken, just add up the rich flavour of the dish. It is perfect to be served with steam rice or lontong (hard boiled rice). Topping it with sambal trasi (fish paste chilli sauce) and acar timun (cucumber pickles) will bring this dish to another level. So scrumptious!

Sambal Goreng Salmon Kentang


Sambal Goreng Salmon Kentang is a unique dish for it wouldn't be listed as traditional/original Indonesian food. Using Salmon as the substitute of beef, it is cooked with potatoes and mangetout, and stir-fried in hot spicy chilli sauce. Perfect to accompany steam rice, as main course.

Ikan Saus Tauco


Ikan Sambal Tauco (Fish in Salted Soy Bean Sauce) is a tasty spicy fish dish which using tauco (salted soy bean) as the sauce. So rich in flavour, because into the tauco is added some garlic, shallots, spring onion, chillies. Such a perfect dish to accompany steam rice!

Ketoprak


There 2 different meaning of Ketoprak. One is a traditional performing art from Central Java, and the other one is the popular kind of food from Jakarta. Of course, we are talking about the later. The ingredients are vermicelli, bean sprouts, fried tofu coated in egg, sliced spring onions & fried shallots. Peanut sauce are poured over it, and some crackers are added before serving. Definitely a signature dish from Jakarta.

Soto Ayam Komplit


Soto Ayam is the famous Indonesian style of chicken broth soup, which contains vermicelli, bean sprouts, chicken, and topped with sliced spring onions and celery, fried shallots. Perfecting the dishes, boiled egg, perkedel kentang (fried mashed potato), hot spicy chilli sauce, and prawn crackers is served along side. Either steam rice or lontong (hard boiled rice) is good to accompany this dish.

Nasi Urap Komplit



Nasi Urap is the name of white rice and Javanese style salads by using spicy grated coconut meat as the topping. To celebrate some special occasion, Nasi Urap Komplit is served with boiled egg, fried tofu and tempe, some meat (poultry, beef, or fish) and crackers along side. It looks so merry, so healthy, and so yummy, of course!

Nasi Rawon


Nasi Rawon is a distinguished East Java style of white rice and beef soup dish for it's using the content of "Kluwek" to colour and to spice the soup itself. The dish is perfectly served with bean sprout, telor asin (salty egg), tempe gore (fried tempe), sambal trasi (chilli sauce with shrimp paste), plus krupuk (crackers).

Nasi Rawon Komplit is definitely a real exotic treat for beef lovers!

Nasi Uduk



NAsi Uduk is a festive dish originally from Betawi, Jakarta. It consist of white tasty rice, accompanied with Dadar Telur ( sliced fried egg), Kering Tempe (Spicy Tempe), Daging Empal (fried beef), Krupuk (crackers), Lalapan (fresh vegies) and Sambal (hot chilli sauce). Daging Empal could be substituted with Ayam Goreng Kuning (yellow fried chicken) or Ikan Asin (salty fish). It is definitely an exquisite dish!

Rendang is the name of this particular dish. It is originally from Minang area,and usually served for special occasion. The delicious spicy, sometimes hot, dish is often using tender beef as the main ingredient. Being cooked long with various spices, it is so perfect with steam rice.

Ayam Panggang Klaten


A distingushed chicken dish, Ayam Panggang Klaten, is oraiginated from Kalasan, Central Java. It could be served with Tempe & Tahu Bacem alongs side, and perfectly accompanied by Sambal Trasi and fresh salads. They are marinated in a special seasoning and subdeguently roasted. The chicken is tender and juicy, with a slightly sweet flavour. The chicken is so tender that the bone can be eaten.

Ayam Goreng Kalasan


This dish originated from Kalasan, Central Java. The chicken is the main dish but the tempe and tofu can serve as sidedishes. They are marinated in a special seasoning and deepfried in sunflower oil. The chicken is tender and juicy, with a slightly sweet flavour. The chicken is so tender that the bone can be eaten. The remains of the marinade are mixed with flour, fried and sprinkled over the chicken as garnish before it is served.

Accompanying this dish is sweet and spicy sauce made of fish paste, chilli, tomatoes and a fine selection of spices guaranteed to tingle your taste buds. The garden salad served on the side freshens and cleans your palate at the end of the meal.

Tempe Burger


Tempe burgers are fresh homemade tempe (fermented soybean) coated with golden breadcrumbs and served between two toasted buns. Sweet chili is drizzled on the tempe, which is then topped with grated cheese, crisp iceberg lettuce, juicy ripe tomatoes, thin slices of sweet onion and a dollop of creamy mayonnaise.

Vegetarian-friendly but highly recommended for vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike!

Ayam Garang Asem



Another sophisticated cooking style from Central Java, to steam the chicken which is wraped in banana leaves with all the spices included. The juice and tenderness of the chicken go along with the tastefulness and and soury sensation that derives from tomato and "blimbing wuluh". This dish is a good match with warm steam rice.
